I recommend this dress for someone on the taller side (like myself at 5'10'') otherwise it would sit oddly on the hips of a shorter person which is possibly the issue with other reviews.

Cute dress and I wanted to love it. BUT There is extra material around the waist band and no matter how slim one is it will not flatter your waste.
